Arpad Muranyi took the minutes. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Opens: - Arpad asked if anyone was willing to take the minutes. ------------- Review of ARs: Walter: Send BIRD213.1 draft 3 to ATM for people to review - done Fangyi: Create BIRD211.3 draft 3 based on last week's discussion - done Bob Ross commented that the draft distributed before the meeting should not be called BIRD211.4, since BIRD211.3 has not been submitted to the IBIS Open Forum yet. The group agreed that the naming should continue as BIRD211.3 draft_x. -------------------------- Call for patent disclosure: - None. ------------------------- Review of Meeting Minutes: Arpad asked for any comments or corrections to the minutes of the July 27th meeting. Ambrish moved to approve the minutes. Walter seconded the motion. There were no objections. ------------- New Discussion: BIRD211.3 draft3 (distributed as BIRD211.4 draft1 before the meeting): Fangyi shared the draft and summarized the changes he made since the last meeting. Ambrish, Arpad and Bob made a few editorial comments while Fangyi edited the document. The group decided to have one more review of the new draft next week and, if no other issues are found, take a vote to submit the BIRD to the Open Forum. PAMn BIRD213 discussion: Walter recalled that the question about removing the mapping related text from the BIRD had not been decided yet. Ambrish made a motion to remove those sections from the BIRD, Fangyi seconded the motion and no one opposed. Ambrish said that the threshold parameters should be optional. Walter made changes accordingly, but this raised additional questions regarding consistency with the existing threshold parameters in the current specification.
